A recently discovered map alleges that many years earlier, Cap'n Gnawface the Meanie buried her loot somewhere on the island, but anyone tries to find it will be cursed by pirate ghosts. A "golden smudge" will appear on the cursed--and then the treasure-seeker will be ghost-napped! Certain it's just a silly story, the greedy residents go after the booty, but then they start waking up with the golden smudge...and mysteriously disappearing!
