While Frostpaw takes refuge in ShadowClan as Splashtail seizes control of her home, Nightheart returns to ThunderClan and to a complicated reunion with his mate Sunbeam whose efforts to fit in as ThunderClan's newest member are hampered by her treacherous mother.
