Description
this is a multi-title review. Titles include 'Baby Faces' and 'What's On My Head' - Ages 6 mos.-3 Energy and appeal are clearly present in these two new board books, which feature round, life-size baby faces. In What's on My Head? babies wear such fancy headpieces as a beanbag dog, a pretty bow, a firefighter's hat, a beanbag froggie, and a rubber duck. Baby Faces shows a variety of bright-eyed babies with expressions only infants can make: the 'yippee' face, the 'yucky' and 'yum-yum' faces, and the 'uh-oh' face. With the simple designs, striking and playful photos, and one-or two-word texts, these books are winning examples of the board-book genre. Highly recommended. -
